World Mental Health Awareness Day Bath 2015 Sat October 10th

World Mental Health Day is a great annual event in Bath’s Social Calendar. A collaboration between volunteers and staff from different groups and organisations in B&NES. The day aims to challenge people’s views of mental health, promote positive mental health and wellbeing and inform people about the groups and services available in B&NES – in thought provoking and entertaining ways!

Activities in central Bath include:

  • The Friends Meeting House, York Street, Bath – an indoor venue with stalls, music, workshops (such as circus skills), massage, and a café, open to the public from 10-3pm.  Off the Record will be running a badge making workshop on the day – we are looking for volunteers to help run this activity! See below for more info!

  • The bottom of Milsom Street / corner of Old Bond Street, Bath – From 10-3pm there will be a programme of open air eye catching, thought provoking activities, as well as live music by buskers. Off the Record will be running a fun interactive game here from 1pm-2pm!! We are looking for Volunteers to help create and run the game! See below for more info!

Activities outside of Bath:

  • A double decker community bus will travel to 2 venues in Radstock and Midsomer Norton  (venues tbc dependant on parking arrangements) and engage the local public in fun activities, and offering information and advice about services in their area. (Off the Record is not delivering any specific activities relating to this.)
