Off the Record is now recruiting for Volunteer Counsellors and Listening Support Workers for our Bath, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton office for young people aged between 10-25.
We also offer a counselling service in partnership with Young Melksham (Teen Talk) for young people aged between 10-18. This is a counselling service in Wiltshire based at the Canberra Youth Centre, Melksham. We are particularly keen to receive applications from trainee and qualified counsellors who would like to be part of this exciting project.
Our Counsellors provide weekly 50 minute sessions of therapeutic support to young people aged 10-25. We offer 6 sessions of counselling to everyone interested in receiving counselling but this can be extended if necessary. We provide full induction to the role and ongoing individual and group clinical supervision. We also offer a limited number of placement opportunities for trainee counsellors.
Our Listening Support Workers provide advice, support and guidance to young people aged 10-25 on any issue they would like support with. We provide full training and induction to the role and ongoing supervision.
We ask for a minimum of one year’s commitment from all volunteers.

We will be holding an introduction to Off The Record on Saturday 29th September at our Bath Office from 10am – 3pm.
Our listening support training will be starting on Wednesday 17th October from 6:30pm- 8:30pm for six weeks.
